I will probably get the flame for this, but I’ll take my chances. I use online dating services sparingly, but whenever I have, a disproportionate amount of profiles with misspellings, bad to terrible grammar and generally negative, jaded undertones that I’ve come across have come from black and Latina women. I’ve dated quite a few (my girlfriend now is just a bit lighter than me and I’m pretty dark) who are intelligent, exciting and have their stuff together, but I would think this doesn’t help represent them better. Fwiw, I’m in my early 20′s, so that’s the age range I’ve noticed this in.
