If wired communications reduced the sense of Elsewhere, it would seem that the excesses of wireless communication tend to reduce the sense of Here and Now.

BB, we are Ok-friendly (as opposed to Ok-guarded). Jeff Cooper’s To Ride, Shoot Straight, and Speak the Truth Only one comment–general criticisms, like area of effect weapons (shotguns beyond range and howitzers), sometimes unfortunately hit unintended bystanders. Social context must be considered when launching general criticisms. I’ll address your other comments in my comment below for Morpheus.

Morpheus, we are Ok-friendly, too. I agree that c0ck-measuring contests are silly; in that light, your comment about BB kicking all our @$$es was silly since you had held such a contest and declared BB the winner. There was an additional silliness–you had no way of knowing the size of the other c0cks, which is what my response was designed to show (I know, the reader had to infer my point). The biggest problem wasn’t the silliness–it was that you put BB in an awkward position by declaring him the c0ck-measuring contest winner. Of course, BB responded by disqualifying himself.
